Hand formed and painted in clay by Kamal Kumar, this sculptural watermelon celebrates colour, craft, and careful detailing. The form is shaped by hand, slowly dried, and kiln fired for durability before being individually painted to capture the vibrant flesh, seeds, and rind. Each piece carries subtle variations in brushwork and form, reflecting the human touch behind its making.

Clay, drawn from the earth, offers both delicacy and strength. With gentle indoor care and occasional dusting, this piece can endure for years as a playful reminder of summer and shared tables.
